Established in 1991, Oldcastle Precast, Inc. in Concord, NC is situated on 8 acres of land approximately 12 miles northeast of Charlotte. The plant is located just off of I-85 minutes away from Lowes Motor Speedway. The facility is designed to manufacture precast utility vaults & pads, box culverts, three sided bridges, manholes and catch basins.
The state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is 32,500 sq. ft consisting of an 80'x250' production bay with overhead lifting capacities of 25-tons with a hook height of 26'. The plant also houses a fully automated steel shop that is 50' x 125' with a 5 ton crane. The computer controlled batching system uses the latest in digital technology and a 2 yard concrete mixer. Out in the yard several Taylor forklifts and a smaller Hyster lift are used to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
