The ongoing mission of the West Valley Water District (WVWD) in Rialto, California, is to protect, safeguard and deliver affordable water to their customers. When it was formed in 1952, the District served a small, rural area. Over the years, the WVWD experienced tremendous growth and expansion and currently encompasses more than 29 square miles in San Bernardino County and serves almost 20,000 homes and businesses.
WVWD uses OPES Fibrelyte composite water meter boxes and lids for a variety of applications, including their continuing AMR retrofit project, new construction, as well as routine replacement maintenance.
“We really like working with OPES,” said Bill Krueger, WVWD Meter Supervisor. “They respond quickly and provide us with quality enclosures and lids, custom made to fit any configuration we need.”
