The Marianna Plant was constructed in 2007 and consists of over 50,000 sq ft of covered production area on 16 acres and is the first "Greenfield" project Oldcastle Precast, Inc. has ever completed. The plant and offices are both made to expand and keep up with the demand for precast concrete products in the growing Florida Panhandle Market Area. New FDOT standard index structure forming equipment and custom forming equipment fill the Precast Structures Production Area and a new Colle Pipe Machine can be found in the Precast Pipe Production Area.
The Precast Plant can produce most of the FDOT Standard Index products and was built to be able to produce large custom structures as well. Vaults, box culverts, junction boxes, pads, retaining walls, bridges, endwalls and storage vaults are just a few of the custom structures this plant is capable of producing. The Precast Plant can also build various electrical and communication structures.
The Precast Pipe Plant can produce 15"- 72" RCP, 15"-36" NRCP and elliptical pipe from 15" - 48" round equivalent. The first Colle Pipe Machine in the United States can be found in this plant. The plant is designed to be able to support continuous production when needed in this growing market.
The Precast Structures Plant, Precast Pipe Plant and Quality Control Laboratory are all FDOT Approved facilities and are all fully equipped and staffed to be able to handle jobs of any size. The Plants combined are designed to be able to produce well over 100,000 tons of concrete products annually to this fast growing region of the United States.
The Marianna Plant is located just off I-10 and is very easy to find, as it can be seen from the highway. Please feel free to stop in and see this new Precast Facility during normal business hours.
