Oldcastle Precast in Orlando was established in 1972, and is located on approximately fifteen acres in South Orlando Florida. The Orlando facility manufactures products for communication, utility, sanitary/drainage, and FDOT including MSE wall panel systems, specialty metal fabrication, and Con-Vault above ground fuel containment system. At 47,000 sq. ft. and a normal operating volume of 100 cubic yards of concrete per day. Our facility has the capacity to store over 600 tons of raw materials in an above ground five compartment enclosed silo that feeds our computer controlled batching systems 3 yard mixer.
Main manufacturing areas are:
- Production area 1 produces the utility and communication product line as well as specialty pads, associated flat work, and light pole bases.
- Production area 2 produces the sanitary/drainage product line. Round product from 42" diameter to 96" diameter and box capabilities from 18”x18” to (if it fits on a truck).
- Production area 3 produces specialty fabricated steel products such as galvanized frames and covers for use in our utility product line as well as custom forms for our and our sister plants use. We are a UL approved Con-Vault steel fuel tank manufacturing facility.
- Production area 4 produces the Con-Vault concrete enclosed above ground fuel containment system ranging in sizes from 125 gallon to 12,000 gallon.
- Production area 5 consists of pre-pour support including rebar cages, custom carpentry, and Agru HDPE liner.
Major markets are Heavy Highway,(drainage structures, manholes, headwall, endwalls, and specialty products); Utility Distribution (utility vaults, manholes, handholes, pads, and transformer foundations); Environmental (grease traps, sand filters, storm water treatment vaults, and oil interceptors).
