Retaining Walls

Gravity walls rely upon the weight of the precast unit and the fill inside the unit to provide sufficient mass to stabilize the slope. Walls have the strength and durability of precast concrete and eliminate the need for poured-in-place concrete footings. Precast also greatly reduces site preparation time and allows for all weather construction.

Our standard retaining walls are used in a variety of applications. They are available in many sizes from standard to custom and come in a variety of slopes.

Our MSE retaining wall system features precast concrete facing panels composed of steel grid reinforcements. They are designed in accordance with specifications and meet state and DOT requirements. MSE Wall Panel system minimizes bearing pressures and can meet seismic requirements. Our experienced retaining wall engineers are experts at installation and can assist you with any need.

CastleBlock™ combines the installation ease of a gravity wall with the long-term stability of an MSE wall. The CastleBlock™ retaining wall system is simple, stable and beautiful. Its design is based on a rigid structure made with modular precast cubes providing both vertical and frictional resistance to horizontal movement. Applications include highways, parking lots, trash transfer facilities, railroads and many other treatments.

The T-Wall retaining wall system is a gravity structure where dimensions are bounded by the front plane formed by the facing panels and a back plane formed by the ends of the stem. T-Walls are a great alternative to cast-in-place concrete because they are easy to install and reduce labor costs.

Our L-shaped walls offer a simple, gravity solution for retaining walls. They are designed to resist overturning in almost any soil with adequate bearing capacity. The L-shaped walls can accommodate grade changes by stepping the foundation or sloping the bearing material. They offer a fast, flexible, low-cost solution for both temporary and permanent applications.

Redi-Rock™ is the world’s most innovative retaining wall system. It features a split-limestone appearance and a unique interlocking system. Redi-Rock™ brings strength and adaptability for projects from sea walls and diversion barriers to golf course applications and highway retaining walls. A significant advantage of this wall system is that the assembled weight is less than half as much as other solid wall systems. Lock and load systems also act independently to provide superior stability and eliminate differential settlement problems. Applications for these walls include parks and recreation, marine, industrial, institutional and others. They are durable and cost-effective solutions.

Castle Rock™ retaining walls are a simple, elegant and affordable solution. They are commonly used in residential and commercial developments, highway embankments, bridge abutments, culvert openings and planters. Castle Rocks are produced in two sizes allowing for construction of both conventional gravity retaining walls and custom engineered mechanically stabilized earth walls.
