Founded in 1936 Kerr Concrete Pipe Company started operations in Patterson, New Jersey and then expanded to our current location in Folsom, New Jersey over 60 years ago.In 1986 Kerr purchased Cayuga Concrete Pipe in New Britain Pennsylvania. Employing some of the most advanced technology and manufacturing methods of the time, allowed these two plants to become the market leaders in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Partnering with Oldcastle in early 2000 Kerr/Cayuga expanded their operations by purchasing Sabatini Concrete Pipe in Croydon, Pennsylvania and Irving Loomis & Sons in Montrose, Pennsylvania along with New Jersey Concrete Pipe Company in Farmingdale, NJ. The New Britain Plant was closed in 2006 and the remaining facilities are now known as the Oldcastle's Northeast Pipe Group.
All the operations had existed for more than 40 years, developing a loyal following of customers. Continued advancements in technology and manufacturing methods have enable Oldcastle NEPG to provide a broad range of products to our customers, from small bore pipe to sizes exceeding 100" in both round and elliptical product. Continuing to broaden it's horizon NEPG has ventured into other areas of precast concrete products--junction boxes and inlets.
